The physical and sociological barriers hegemonies place in our way often become self fulfilling prophecies within us. No matter how “large” we are inside, our efforts to see ourselves actualized in society are met with marginalization. We aren’t allowed to define and develop our own cultural narratives. Doing so is inevitably met with aggression and anger. My next piece will confront some aspects of white fragility and everyday racism in Berlin Germany. Stay tuned!
