There are a lot of questions orchestras should ask.
Look at your orchestras. Look at your administrations. See any Black faces with artistic agency? Is there only one token? Does your orchestra reflect the racial demographics of the community? Is this important? If so, how’s it reflected in the active recruitment of multiple Blacks, the evolution of company culture, cultural sensitivity training, and the granting of cultural membership and agency to Blacks?
